Good basic electrician's meter

This is a decent basic meter for an electrician. It won't do true RMS or low impedance measurements, but for checking basic voltages and resistances, or current using the open fork sensor, it does 95% of what you'd use a more expensive meter like the Fluke 87V for anyways, and has the advantage of fitting nicely on a belt. It's also a lot less expensive so you don't have to worry as much about it getting beat up.

can't be beat for the $$$. The only improvement that I would make is to increases the wire size/amps that you can meter with the forks to say 200 amps. This would allow you to meter the mains on most homes.
