I got this a few days ago to help me cope with another fluke meter's short comings in various home shop duties. I tested it out today, was mystified when I couldn't get it to show AC or DC voltage but chalked it up to user error somehow. I brought it over to my dad to show him, we put the leads on some test targets to verify functionality, fortunately it works.
The test lead connector barrels that connect to the meter are WAY too long, they should be about half the length they are. The result is a sort of loose fitting connection that sticks too far out from the case. I compared it to my other meter and my dads recently purchased fluke, their connector barrels are much shorter and fit better.
The meter is very easy to read, big numbers, great back light when working in dim areas, the case feels very solid and well made. It includes a spot on the back to hang from a strap.
The only thing missing from this is an option for a thermocouple to measure temperature surface temperatures, there are so many different fluke models to choose from it's kind of difficult to find the perfect one but this comes close.
Tequipment does a nice job of displaying important details of the various models, and even provides some helpful comparisons sometimes to aid the purchaser in making informed decisions.
One star deducted for the cr@ppy test leads, otherwise satisfied with the results!

Quality: Zippers are nice feeling and smooth. Cloth is not too thin and feels well stitched. The padding was not as thick as I expected, so if this was in a tough environment (tossed in the van or truck toolbox, carried around the shop all day, etc), I would be a little cautious about the meter being dropped or banged around by tools.
Features: The inside pocket is helpful; I used it to store the manual and calibration card for my equipment. The case is pretty large (oversized for my meter) but I would not have any issue fitting a typical meter and a few accessories inside without having to smash everything in there.
Overall a decent quality case that can hold a wide array of meters plus accessories.

Solid multimeter for basic home, shop, and auto troubleshooting of single phase 120 and 240 VAC. I wanted a safe meter with true RMS meter for basic troubleshooting and verifying abscence of voltage. It's more meter than I need but it's well built and has an auto voltage mode, screens out ghost voltages in auto mode, has non contact voltage detection and is affordable. Fluke 117 has a few more features and is worth the price over the 115 and 116 but doesn't have the HVAC/R focused microamps and temperature from the 116. It wold be nice to have milliamp / micro-amp range and thermocouple probe temperature on the 117. It's CAT III rated, made overseas, has a 3 year warranty, and is affordable. Stepping up to US made Fluke 87, 177 and 179 gives you more features, CAT IV rated, and a higher price.
I also looked at the T5 and T6 which have innovative features but T6 open fork meters but there are some issues testing for open neutral.

Though I intend to only use it for voltage and current measurements, it also includes frequency and capacitance. The major shortcoming of these meter is that it doesn't measure microamps; the smallest measurable current is 1 mA. Also, the auto volt setting has a resolution of 100 mV while the millivolt setting has a resolution of 0.1 mV; just something to be aware of.

So I bought this meter as a replacement to a Klein meter I have the was stolen. But what I can say for sure is this meter is more accurate than the Klein meter I had. The backlight is better than i thought it would be.
I also love the fact that I can use the fluke having system with this meter my main purpose for this meter is testing microfarads and resistains as I work on copiers and it works great for that. Plus I can use for around the house ,and most a.c. applications.
The only thing I wished it had was a way to test millivolts and milliamps for flame sensors but for what I do most of the time this meter is amazing and it is true what they say fluke is hands down better even for the cheaper series and in China love it.

This is good bag, but not perfect. Ideally it should have a bit more padding. Also, the section that holds the leads should be closed on the bottom end. As it is, small objects (like alligator clips) slip down to the bottom of the main part of the bag and could scratch the meter.

The fabric on the inside of this case is pretty cheap and will easily fray due to the test of time.
Foam padding could have been better as well, it'll do the job only up to a certain point. Say you had your meter on your bench, and you bumped it onto your hardwood, concrete, or tile floor, it would probably be okay. But if you were, say an electrician, and you dropped this from a ladder onto the hard floor, your meter will probably be damaged in some way or form.
Overall, it's a cheaply made case that sells for more than what it is and it has a, "Made in China," tag on the inside to prove it.

Looks to be a good constructed bag to keep a multimeter and some accessories together and portable. Material seems durable, but the padding seems thin and soft. The padding would still help to keep the pointy, jutting parts inside from poking too much. There is a pocked inside, but is more of a divider than a pocket; probably to allow the test leads to be left plugged into the meter so that you can use the meter from the bag. Double zippers along the top for easy opening, and a loop at the top that you could thread a belt through to hang by your waist.

We have about 4-6 of these meters and they are used on the bench as well as in the field. Extreme accuracy is not too important so I can not speak to that. All of the meter readings are the same when measuring the same value, Thus meter to meter they read the same.
I find the unit rugged and tolerant to abuse. The internal fuse on the current side as been tested a few times (B-T-W replacement cost about a buck) and the meter continued to work after dealing with over current measurements.
I like the audio response when checking continuity.

This meter is, overall, excellent in design and operation. Rather than state everything that it does well, it's worth mentioning two things that it does not.
It doesn't do a good job of holding a reading. One must take the reading and then, after the reading has appeared, tell the meter to hold the reading while keeping the probes in place. This makes this function almost unusable. It should allow one to set the meter so the next reading is held, rather than having to tel it to hold the current reading. That would make this an eyes-free function.
The other is that the meter cannot test an LED.

If you are looking for a cheap Fluke that feels like the 87V/177/287/787 you use at your manufacturing job, this is not it. It does have a cheaper feel to it. However, it is a good little meter. Very responsive and seemingly accurate. To me it is worth paying double over a hardware store meter for the painlessness that is a Fluke meter.
Beware the lack of a CAT-IV rating. Some industrial sites might exclude it due to their NFPA-70E rules.

Not as accurate or as fast as the industry standard (87V) but it's good enough for anything I will need it for. Significantly cheaper than the 87V and comes in a smaller package which is great for single-hand use. The LoZ function is a plus. The IWH C-66 case that TEquipment included is made for full-sized meters, so this meter floats around in its case... still better than no case at all.
