I purchased this iron because I was having a problem with inconsistent temps with my previous iron. I borrowed one from a friend, that she had had for 10 years, and found it easy to work with. One comment worth noting is when I first plugged it in it tripper my circuit. I called the company and they had me plug it into a non GFCI outlet and let it get red hot. I did and it has worked great ever since. Thanks for a great durable product.
