Wahl HSB50 - Human Skin Temperature Blackbody Calibration Unit

The Wahl HSB50 Portable Blackbody Calibration Verification Unit for Human Skin Temperature can be used as a portable high accuracy reference device to verify the readings of hand-held non-contact infrared thermometers or thermal imaging cameras, or as a background reference for thermal imaging or elevated skin temperature scanning systems, providing greater accuracy in skin temperature measurements. This model features a unique, lightweight design with a compact footprint and built-in carry handle for easy transportation

The Wahl HSB50 has a fixed emissivity of 0.98 designed specifically for calibrating infrared temperature sensors to measure at human skin temperature. The emitting area is 2.83 inches (72 mm) square and features extremely high sensitivity, stability, and uniformity.

The HSB50 has an accuracy of ±0.05°C at 98.6°F (37°C), and is NIST Calibrated with a transfer standard at time of manufacture so that no error or offset is required.

WIth non-skid feet for use on any horizontal surface, or use the included tripod seat for temporary or permanent mounting.
