The TREND Networks LanTEK IV is a Cable Certification System that brings a new standard to the industry, making the job faster, easier and more profitable.

It is available in several packages for both copper and fiber optic testing and certification. Users can select from a 500 MHz or 3 GHz LanTEK IV, MM or SM/MM FiberTEK IV and the manufacturer’s 1 Year Sapphire Care Plan. The chart below provides a brief overview of the part numbers and main components of each:

LanTEK IV

The LanTEK IV can test and save a Cat6A link in 7 seconds and certifies links up to Cat8.1 and Cat8.2, including TCL and Resistance Unbalance measurements. In addition, LanTEK IV future-proofs your investment - it will sweep to 3000MHz providing room for future ISO/TIA test standards.

VisiLINQ permanent link adapters

With unique VisiLINQ permanent link adapters, there is no need to even hold the certifier. Everything you need is in the palm of your hand - this is a totally new way to certify that will boost productivity.

Complete Connectivity

An intuitive user interface and high-resolution touch screen make LanTEK IV simple to use with no compromise on functionality. For example, LanTEK IV can connect you to the internet and to the new IDEAL AnyWARE Cloud management system, allowing real time collaboration between Project Managers and Field Technicians.

FiberTEK IV

FiberTEK IV adapters are used with LanTEK IV for fast and simple certification of high bandwidth single-mode and multimode fiber optic cabling including support for encircled flux testing (optional).

To pinpoint fiber cabling faults every FiberTEK IV adapter includes a built-in visible light source to help you visually pinpoint faults and locate fiber ports.

FiberTEK IV provides optical loss (dB) measurements meeting Tier 1 certification requirements.

Available in multi-mode (850/1300nm) and single mode (1310/1550nm) varieties.

1 Year Sapphire Care Plan

Three of the six LanTEK IV packages also include a 1 Year Sapphire Care Plan. These are part numbers R163000B2, R163001B4 and R163001B6. The Sapphire Care Plan offers complete protection for your instrument, helping to minimize down time, reduce the cost of ownership and protect against unforeseen repair bills.

FREE ANNUAL CALIBRATION

MAINTAIN ACCURACY
Cable certifiers require calibration every 12 months to ensure measurements are accurate and they comply with the international technical standards, ISO IEC 61935-1 and TIA 1152. We will calibrate the certifier at no extra cost and perform any software and firmware updates that are required.

FREE LOAN UNIT DURING REPAIRS AND CALIBRATION

NO DOWNTIME
In the event your LanTEK III/IV may need repair, a loan tester will be dispatched within one working day of a fault being reported. For calibrations a loan unit is supplied to minimize downtime and keep you up and running. The loan unit is delivered prior to your LanTEK III/IV being collected.
