The Seek RevealPro's image blew me away. As long as the temperature difference from the hottest point to the coolest point is at least 25 degrees Fahrenheit, the image is very clean and free of noise. If the temperature difference is under 5 degrees Fahrenheit, the image will be a bit noisy. Still, I never expected the image to be this good.
The three button interface is easy to use and the built in flashlight with two brightness levels is a very nice touch. This makes the unit ideal for industrial inspections. I'm still amazed that Seek could pack so much in a unit that costs a few thousand less the the competitor's models.
Unfortunately the narrow field of view made it harder to use for home inspections, while I could scan the area in two passes, it seemed awkward to do it that way.
I had to swap out the Seek RevealPro for the Seek ShotPro with the wider field of view. The ShotPro gave me several extra features that don't exist on the Seek RevealPro, but the image has a bit more noise on the ShotPro. No question the Seek ShotPro better fits my needs, but part of me regrets letting go of the Seek RevealPro.

Went for this unit due to size and sensitivity; no regrets. Very pleased with the unit. Small, simple, long battery life, photo download is easy but I wish the format was JPEG. Conversion through WORD PAINT is what I use to make the photos more user friendly or I just take a picture of the picture on the Thermal Reveal when I only need 1 or 2

First, I have never owned or operated a thermal camera however, out of the box the user interface is so easy and intuitive I was quickly taking precise measurements around my house. I am impressed with the resolution and precision in the temperature readings. The update speed is a nice feature. After quite a bit of researching I believe this thermal camera to be the best bang for your buck.

Seek Thermal RevealPRO - good product

I picked this item up for two reasons. One was that I wanted to find overheating equipment and parts on circuit boards. The Seek Thermal RevealPRO handheld works wonderfully for this. High res screen and sensor and great features. I also wanted to use it to detect where my cats is hiding in the bushes out back at night when I'm trying to find her. It is useful for this as well and does a pretty good job of it. You can see animals or people at 100 yards if they are hot. The device is well made and easy to use. The head down view angle makes this more of a field or bench temperature testing instrument than a wild animal hunting tool. Great product and good price.

I've used the reveal ff with 205x156 and this pro model. Huge jump in image resolution with the pro model. It can show decent images even when the temperature spread is only a few degrees. When it is 50 degrees or colder I can spot a rabbit at night about 100 yards away. Finding problem areas in my home insulation was a breeze. Great color pallets. I usually use iron on full frame mode which gives the highest and lowest temperature in frame. I'm very happy with the purchase of this unit.

I've been considering a purchase of a thermal cam for the past few years but the price and resolution did not meet the sweet spot for me. At 320x240, the resolution is now sufficient to isolate electrical, plumbing, or insulation issues or detect animals at night while retaining sufficient detail of the surroundings to give context to the photo.
A few firmware updates (.TIFF files (and perhaps software) for thermographic analysis, interval timer for unattended capture) and release of the developer API would be welcome improvements. While the dimmable screen is bright enough for daylight work, it is not a touchscreen, so setting changes often require many button presses. While 15 fps video is useful, I don't believe video recording is possible with this device. Even with the current limitations, I do not regret the purchase.
