For safe handling of heated components up to 500 °C (932 °F)
The TMBA G11ET gloves are especially designed for allowing the safe handling of heated bearings or other components for prolonged periods. They can withstand extreme temperatures of up to 500 °C (932 °F), without the presence of hot liquid or steam, with a high degree of non-flammability
SKF, a world leader in bearing technology and related products, supplies a series of abrasion resistant KEVLAR gloves manufactured from very strong, lightweight and flexible fibre. The TMBA G11ET gloves are ideal for use in extreme heat applications as well as the handling of heated components over long periods.
The gloves are seamlessly knitted in one piece, are lined with a single, heavy layer of cotton and can withstand heat exposure without hot liquid or steam at temperatures of up to 500 degrees Celcius with a high degree of non-flammability. Because they are KEVLAR gloves, they are highly resistance to cuts, abrasions punctures and tears.
SKF TMBA G11ET gloves are tested and certified for mechanical (EN 388) and thermal risks (EN 407). SKF’s glove series is ergonomic and breathable and comply with the task requirements of the Personal Protective Equipment Directive.
