Desoldering Module
The Hakko FM-2024 Desoldering Module increases the versatility of your Hakko FM-203 or Hakko FP-102, giving you a complete soldering and desoldering system.
The configurable handpiece uses quick-change composite nozzles and allows you to choose either a gun-style handpiece, or pencil-style handpiece. Pencil style shown in photo.
Note:
Compressed air is NOT self-contained in the FM-203, FM-202 or FP-102 stations. The Desoldering Control Module is required to operate the desoldering gun/pencil. The Desoldering Control Module also requires shop/compressed air. Nozzles are NOT included. (See Nozzles and Accessories)
Important:
(1)In order to operate the FM-2024 with the FM-203 or FM-202 station, the FM-203 or FM-202 must have software version 7.0 or greater. Hakko will upgrade any previous software versions of the FM-203 or FM-202 at no cost. (2)The FM-2024 will operate with any FP-102 station.

Not a complete Kit

First, this is a well built desoldering system that integrates to the FM-203 just fine. The reason I am only giving 4 stars, not directed at the manufacturer, but at TEquipment due to the rep telling me this was a complete kit. It will not function by itself (or hooked up to the FM-203 alone), it requires an external air supply to work. AND, you will need to regulate that air supply to no more than 70 PSI, filter that air and dry it (find a non-lubricating regulator and filter someplace), then find a tube (also not included) that will fit the supply hole and has a minimum opening required for proper air flow.
