The tiniest tips I'v seen until now, very suitable for SMD soldering and tiny components, you can also try to use it for normal soldering, but then you will need to increase the temperature since the heat transfer won't be that great because the contact area is small.

Pictures are not always "worth a thousand words" when describing this tip. I wanted something very small, to go with the Hakko micro soldering iron. Like the iron, this tip is much smaller than I imagined. I read the specs but the pictures seemed to show it was much larger. I needed a tip to solder tiny components and get into tight places. This one, along with the micro soldering iron, does the job. You, literally, have to use a magnify lens to see the finish on the end of the tip. Compare it to a competitor's and you'll see why Hakko is famous for craftsmanship and precision. With the micro soldering iron, it's a perfect solution for micro soldering.
