Our test lab has used a number of this model thermometer over the years, and they have held up to hard use and being left outside in cold and wet conditions. The failure point is always the probe ports on the top, which will loosen up over time and eventually have intermittent connection issues.

Great to have dual inputs which eliminates having to move thermo couple when snapping in. the optional hanger/magnetic strap is a must which makes life so much easier. The ease of use and lack of complicated menus allows me to get on it and off of it quickly. It dials in the temp much quicker than other devices I have used, "Big Time Saver". You can't go wrong with this product.
