The Fluke 771, 772, and 773 allow you to measure the 4-20 mA signal with out breaking the loop, providing accuracy of 0.2% in the 4-20 mA range.

No need to lift a wire from a terminal to measure 4-20 mA signals. No need to call the control room to override a process loop to make a mA measurement.
The Fluke 772 and 773 have additional features. Refer to the chart listed below.
The Fluke 771, 772, and 773 are mA loop troubleshooting tools with accuracy of 0.2%. Transmitters require a mA calibrator with 0.05% accuracy or better, such as the 705, 707, or 709.

Poor Clamp design

The plastic hinge on the Clamp is poorly designed. Unless you treat it with kid gloves, it breaks. This happened on two of our meters. Fluke will offer warranty replacement, but it is not worth the hassle when you need an industrial quality instrument that may fail under normal use.
