This is a good, all-round multimeter with an AC/DC clamp-type ammeter. We use these to test and troubleshoot solar array circuits. Good meter for a good price. The one drawback we have found is that there is a hold buttom across from the clamp release that is hard not to press when you open the clamp jaws.

Clampmeter works well. I compared this with Fluke 324 I have. Did a few different measurements and had eactly the same numbers as with the Fluke. The only small differences were when I measured a temperature (difference about 2 Farh. degrees against Fluke). Wanted to buy Fluke 325 because now need to measure DC current but Fluke 325 is $260! The only think I am a little bit disappointed about this MA445 is that the sound is too weak when performing continuity test. When there is a loud (some industrial shop or factory) or some A/C in the the room is running it is really hard to hear the sound. That is the only drawback I would say. Otherwise very satisfied and I strongly recommend this product for this price!

Fair price. Quick shipping. Disappointed about not having peak indicator. Very difficult to see startup peak amp draw. Thought min/max feature would would be adequate but is not. Otherwise very good
