Work Support, 1,650 lbs Capacity, 0.40" Stroke, Threaded Body
The Enerpac WFT71 is a work support with a threaded body that offers a maximum support force of 1650 lbs and a stroke of 0.40". This tool enables the plunger to stay retracted until pressure is applied, allowing unobstructed loading. The low-pressure lock-up capability enables the use of machine tool hydraulic systems, and the high-rated support capacities allow for a more compact fixture design.
Made with corrosion-resistant materials, this work support is compatible with most coolants and environments. The threaded and manifold air vent ports allow fixturing that prevents coolants and debris from being ingested into the mechanism. This tool also provides minimized deflection that increases machining accuracy.
Support force and clamping force must be matched. The support force should be at least 150% of the clamping force. Do not exceed maximum flow rates to avoid premature lockup. Always center the load over work support.
Enerpac work supports provide either additional non-fixed location points to the clamps, or support to larger or thin section workpiece components, always in order to minimize workpiece deflection during machining.
