I am a newly semi-retired Civil Engineer not an electrical Engineer. I have always enjoyed the wounder of electronics. So far, the kit has been a wonderful relearning tool. My problem is the parts were not sorted and it took many hours sorting and labeling all the components before I could do anything which was very frustrating. I did find that everything was in the kit and it works well. I now think it would be been better for me to get restarted into electronics with a much smaller kit. I hope to have a lot of fun with myself relearning and teaching my grandkids the joy and excitement of learning in the electrical sciences.

Purchased this for my daughter to teach her about electronics. Kit is great, very easy to build simple circuits so she can see the theory in action. Instruction book is very informative and helpful. My only recommended change is to add a shift register to the the kit, her initial interest was spawned from adding RGB strip lighting to her room, and was interested in creating more LED type projects.

I bought this to upgrade my knowledge of electronics and it's doing that just fine. I think there should be more of the longer wires included. I don't find the short ones very useful; too hard to handle. I bought a spool of that size wire locally to make my own. The packages of components could have been labeled better, but everything was there. I now have them taped to 3x5 cards in a card file so I can find what I need more easily. The ordering was easy and there was plenty of communication from TE. The package arrived a couple of days earlier than originally estimated, so that was a pleasant surprise.

Purchased this for my grandson, He is considering electrical engineering as his career. He has spent all of his spare time since Christmas 'plaiyng' with it.
