Amprobe 320-HD 600A ACDC TRMS Clamp with Motor Testing with Multipurpose Hard Case

Whether you need an amp clamp for HVAC, general electrical or motor testing applications, the AMP-320 Clamp Meter, with its large backlit display, has the features you need. HVAC technicians will find the temperature and capacitance measurements they need plus DC Microamps for testing flame sensors. It also had core motor testing capabilities such as motor rotation, 3-phase sequence testing, and inrush current measurement for motor start-up monitoring. The low pass filter allows you to accurately measure current and voltage on variable frequency drives. The Amp-Tip function allows for precise measurement of current down to the tenth of an Amp, enabling accurate current measurement of both large and small diameter wires. It also offers a full range of standard multimeter features, including AC current, AC/DC voltage, frequency, True-RMS, non-contact voltage detection, resistance, continuity and a CAT III 600 V safety rating.

3-phase Motor and Phase Rotation Tests allow proper connection of a motor to a 3-phase system. Improperly connected motors will spin in a reverse direction, which may destroy the motor or equipment connected to it.
Low Pass filter allows measurement of current and voltage on variable frequency drives (motors with speed controlled by frequency). Without this feature, the meter would provide erroneous readings when measuring voltage and current.
DC Microamps output for measurement of flame sensors. Test the proper operation of the flame sensor safety system in gas appliances. A broken sensor in a gas appliance will prevent the safety valve from opening and the appliance will not work.
Inrush current measurement for motor start-up monitoring, allowing users to verify that the motor is receiving the required inrush current to support proper motor start

Foam Lined Case

I bought one for my FLIR IR thermometer and got an extra one for my Fluke hand held and clamp meter. Easy to pull the foam squares out to fit pretty much any shape. The foam squares are ~1/2 square, but run the full depth. But, it is easy to cut to the depth you want. I had to double back tape the top foam liner because it always fell out when you opened the box. But not a big deal. A whole lot better than letting my instruments bang around in a drawer or tool box.

Handy little meter case

The IWH HD-76 came free with my pneumatic calibrator, and I love it. I was actually able to fit two testing devices in it at the same time. I usually carry these in my hand and under my arm, but now I have the ability to carry them conveniently, and at the same time protect them. Thanks Tequipment!

Been using the Amprobe 320 almost daily, so far I'm very pleased with it, the only two things I dislike are the Fluke leads don't fit all the way in the meter ports like they would on a Fluke meter also the temperature readings are off by a few degrees and there is no way to calibrate it.
