Designed to weather any challenge, winter inclusive
The U1273AX is the only solution in the market that operates down to temperatures as low as -40°C (-40°F). This new handheld DMM provides accurate results with no warm-up time required. The U1273AX also works at altitudes up to 3000m above sea level which is perfect for applications such as wind power testing. In addition to excelling in frozen conditions, the U1273AX delivers uncompromising performance and reliability as it comes with IP54 rating (water and dust resistant) and CAT IV/600 V safety rating.
For wireless connectivity to smartphones and tablets, the U1273AX is compatible with the innovative U1177A infrared-to-Bluetooth adapter and the associated remote-monitoring programs that support Agilent's entire line of handheld DMMs. This unique capability enables use of an Android device to wirelessly monitor and control the U1273AX from the warmth and safety of a nearby vehicle or structure.
To support current measurements without breaking the circuit under test, the U1273AX works with the U1583B AC current clamp. The clamp’s 40/400-A dual-range capability provides excellent flexibility in a single unit. The U1583B also meets CAT III/600 V overvoltage requirements.
With the built in OLED display capability, experience crystal-clear readings at 160 degrees viewing angle when performing measurement tasks in a poorly lit environment. With these enhanced features, the U1273AX is ready for the extremes — whenever you are.
Shaped to fit
Agilent U1270 series shaped perfectly to fit in your hand, with or without gloves on. Its non-slip ergonomic shape enables you to carry your DMM and perform measurements on the go easily
Tailored to perform
Agilent U1270 series comes with intelligent features such as LPF, which eliminates high frequency noise and harmonics, and Qik-V to determine existence of AC and DC voltage. To improve safety, the U1270 series incorporates visual alert blinks in addition to the beeper for Continuity test for measurements in noisy environments.
Built to last
With IP 54 certified, the U1270 Series is water and dust resistant for harsh working conditions.
Get a better grip on your DMM
The U1270 series is shaped perfectly to fit in your hand, with or without gloves on. Its non-slip ergonomic shape enables you to carry your DMM and perform measurements on the go easily. Additionally, the controls are easy to operate due to the large knob and buttons.
Improve productivity with intelligent features
Designed for maximum efficiency and productivity in industrial settings, these DMMs offer convenient functions such as Z LOW to eliminate stray voltages, Smart Ω to minimize false readings due to leakage current and Qik-V to determine existence of AC and/or DC voltages.
Continuity detection in noisy and dark places is made easy with the U1270 series’ loud beeper and Backlight Alert function which flashes the backlight to indicate continuity and improve safety.
When it comes to Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) troubleshooting, the U1270 series has Low Pass Filter to handle the job with ease.
Water and dust resistant
The series’ tightly sealed design helps protect against water, dust and damage. Each DMM is IP 54 certified so that you can carry out test and measurement with confidence, even in harsh working conditions.
Specification Assumptions
- Accuracy is given as ±(% of reading + counts of least significant digit) at 23 °C ± 5 °C, with relative humidity less than80% RH.
- AC V and AC µA/mA/A specifications are AC coupled, true RMS and are valid from 5% of range to 100% of range.
- The crest factor may be up to 3.0 at full scale except for the 1000 V range where it is 1.5 at full scale.
- For non-sinusoidal waveforms, add (2% reading + 2% full scale) typical, for crest factors up to 3.
- After ZLOW voltage measurements, wait at least 20 minutes for thermal impact to cool before proceeding with any other measurement.
