Tabor Electronics was founded by Zvi Glazer. Glazer invented the world's first automatic counter, and soon after his new company was spun-off from Elron Corporation in 1971. Tabor Electronics is based in Israel in the city of Tel Hanan. From this headquarters, the company distributes its products worldwide through a network of more than 50 distribution partners.  In the past Tabor manufactured multimeters, wattmeters, DMMs, digitizers, and generators. Tabor was also an OEM manufacturer for numerous top level clients. Today the company continues its OEM operations and continued development of its own product line. The company continues to specializes in signal source equipment. This includes signal amplifiers, pulse, function and arbitrary waveform generators, and waveform creation software across different platforms, interfaces and frequency ranges.
