The simatec IH 045 is an app controllable simatherm induction heater suitable for heating small- and medium-sized workpieces up to 45 kg (99 lbs.). The unit works extremely efficiently due to its external induction coil. If required, the power can be adjusted in eight stages.

The compact simatherm induction heater offers a working space of 114 x 160 mm (4.5 x 6.3 in.) for heating small- to medium-sized rolling bearings and other ring-shaped metal parts. With automatic time and temperature control, rolling bearings can be heated up to the 110°C specified by manufacturers, or up to 180°C for other ring-shaped metal parts.

The simatherm IH 045 comes with 1x temperature probe, protective gloves, power cord, quick instruction guide, and the following yokes:

• 14x14 for bearings with a bore diameter from 20 mm
• 28x28 for bearings with a bore diameter from 40 mm
• 42.5x42.5 for bearings with a bore diameter from 60 mm

**Please note, a second temperature probe (sold separately) is needed to use two-sensor technology.

The IH 045 is equipped with the following safety features:

• Automatic overheating protection
• Automatic current control
• In TEMP MODE the heater will switch off if the temperature probe does not register a temperature increase of 1° every 30 seconds (interval can be increased to 60 seconds) 

The simatherm IH 045 is the first induction heating device to connect to a mobile phone via Bluetooth. This provides the user fast, intuitive operation with direct communication via the app for support, updates, and digital operator guidance. With the help of the app, heating data can also be recorded and visualized for quality assurance purposes.
