Coating Thickness Tester, or paint gauge, is a portable meter designed for non-invasive coating thickness measurements.

Dual technology that provides automatic recognition for ferrous and non-ferrous substrates is preferred. The tester uses magnetic induction for ferrous substrates and eddy current measurement for non-ferrous substrates.
