Motic AE31 Elite

The Motic AE31 Elite is an inverted microscope for professional and university applications.  Commonly used in microbiology, it can be found in pharmaceutical and clinical laboratories, as well as research facilities and higher education.  Built to withstand constant daily use, the AE31E will provide years of high quality and dependability.
 
The AE31E features newly redesigned Plan Achromatic objectives, designed for long working distances and phase contrast.  Motic has created a phase contrast system to be user friendly – one illumination ring will cover 10x to 40x magnifications, with no need to adjust the phase slider ring.  The optional 4x phase objective uses ring Ph0 and is dedicated for fast and efficient sample screening.
 
Illumination is provided by a 6v/30w Halogen lamp, with full Koehler configuration.  The AE31E also features light memory function, where illumination intensity for each objective position is stored, and then reactivated when that objective is brought back in.  And to maximize versatility, the Halogen lamps are interchangeable with two optional LED modules having color temperatures of 4500K and 6000K.  Therefore, users can have multiple illumination sources with just one microscope.
 
The AE31E can also be equipped with an optional fluorescence system.  This carries up to three filter cubes, with many different filters available, from NIR to UV.  Containing band pass filters, multi color stainings can also be treated.  The fluorescence attachment contains a 100w HBO lamp house with integrated mirror for increased light intensity, creating brighter signals for powerful excitation.
