Meriam began in 1911 out of a need for accurate pressure measurement instruments at the height of the Industrial Revolution. In 1969 the company was sold to the Scott & Fetzer Company and remains one of their subsidiaries today. Meriam products are distributed globally and are used in chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, utilities, automotive, and laboratory applications worldwide. They have succeeded in combining their long standing product quality and durability with the advancing technology of today.

Meriam is known for its proprietary Accutube technology. These are true double-averaging pitot tubes that use a round probe design that has been used and proven for decades, unlike new bullet or diamond designs. Meriam Accutubes boast up to ±0.5% accuracy when factory calibrated and better than ±1% uncalibrated. These tubes also feature high flow turndown of 10:1. Meriam Accutubes are relatively inexpensive and are your best option when it comes to capability, reliability, and longevity. They are available in wet tap, insertion, flanged, and inline configurations.
