This item is a System 273 binocular stereo microscope with a dual arm roller bearing stand and without a light source. A 1.0x objective is included, however, other magnifications are available as optional items. The heavy duty, dual arm roller bearing stand features a 17.5" vertical and 22" horizontal reach. It has a 10" x 10" base, weighs approximately 60 pounds, and the focus mount angles to 45° to permit additional viewing and inspection perspectives.
The System 273 is available in packages with a variety of light sources and stands. In the chart below, all models with "RB" in the model number will come with a dual arm roller bearing stand. The others have an articulating arm or standard pole stand. The dual arm roller bearing stand has a 17.5" vertical and 22" horizontal reach. It is extremely stable, coming in at 61 pounds and having a 10"x10" base. Its focus mount angles to 45° to permit additional viewing and inspection perspectives. ESD indicates models which have specially treated, static-dissipative surfaces. VIP stands Variable Inclination Position. Eyepieces on these are adjustable between 0 and 30 degrees.
