This item is a binocular microscope with dual arm roller bearing stand and without a light source. A 1.0x objective is included. The dual arm roller bearing stand has 17.5" vertical and 22" horizontal reach. It is extremely stable, coming in at 61 pounds and having a 10"x10" base. Its focus mount angles to 45° to permit additional viewing and inspection perspectives.
The System 250 has a magnification range of 6.5 to 45x (with 10x eyepieces) and the included 1.0x objective. The 0.65x - 4.5x zoom magnification range is controlled by graduated knobs on both sides of the viewing head, made of heavy duty cast aluminum. The 250 has a 95mm working distance with the 1.0x objective. An optional 0.5x auxiliary objective increases the working distance to 150mm.
The 250 is available in packages with two types of stands and light sources. The following is an overview of the main components in each:
