General Tools was formed in New York City in 1922. Today they offer basic and specialty hand tools as they did when they began, but they have expanded their line to include a new range of digital, electronic test and measurement equipment. The General Tools line today includes electrical test instruments, data loggers, gas detectors, tachometers, thermal imaging cameras, thermometers, air quality meters, moisture meters, and borescope systems, in addition to many, many more product offerings.
