Overview
The Fluke Ti480 offers you 640 x 480 resolution. You can boost this with SuperResolution mode, either on the camera or via the software, and the resolution to 1280 x 960. With its IR-Fusion technology, it can blend the thermal and visual image, either full screen or picture in picture. The minimum focus distance is 6in on the Ti480. LaserSharp Auto Focus is based on its internal laser distance meter, which can also be used to measure the distance to an object. Fluke also offers MultiSharp Focus on the TI480, so that all objects, both near and far, can stay in focus. The Fluke Ti480 has different lenses available for either telephoto or wide-angle applications. For objects that are distant or if you are unable to get close enough, or for objects that are extremely large and are best viewed in one image, you can choose the lens that is right for the job. Through Fluke Connect, you can take measurements with a variety of other instruments and combine them with your thermal image report to get a better sense of what is happening during your image capture.
The FLIR E95 has a resolution of 464 x 348. This can be increased through UltraMax mode on the images you’ve collected, when viewed in the free FLIR Tools Software. All new lenses are autocalibrating, so you don’t need to send the camera in before adding them on.
