It takes 15 minutes to heat from 33 °C to 660 °C and 23 minutes to cool from 660 °C to 100 °C, 12 minutes to cool from 100 °C to 50 °C, and 12 minutes to cool from 50 °C to 33 °C. It communicates using USB Type A & B, RJ45, WiFi, and Bluetooth interface.

The Fluke 9144-A-156 dry well, or "Metrology Well" as it is known, comes with an LCD display, dual zone control, and an IEC-17025 NVLAP-accredited calibration certificate, which is backed by a robust uncertainty analysis that considers temperature gradients, loading effects, and hysteresis. Each calibration is backed with a 4:1 test uncertainty ratio. The display accuracy ranges from ± 0.35 °C at 50 °C to ± 0.5 °C at ± 660 °C. It takes 15 minutes to heat from 50 °C to 660 °C and 25 minutes to cool from 660 °C to 100 °C and 35 minutes to cool from 660 °C to 50 °C. It communicates using RS-232 and 9930 interface-it control software.
