FLIR Fluke Ti32 vs FLIR E8

What is the difference between the Fluke Ti32 and FLIR E8?

Comparison Guide

Overview

The Fluke Ti32 and FLIR E8 are powerful yet affordable thermal imaging cameras – despite their similar form and size, there are some big differences.

The Fluke Ti32 features a 320x240 infrared resolution and 50mK thermal sensitivity. Temperature measurement range covers -4 °F to 1112 °F. Accuracy is ±2% or ±2°C. The camera is available in frame rates of 60Hz and 9Hz depending on version. Built-in is a 3.7-inch LCD screen for crisp images on-screen in real time. The camera is rated for a 2-meter drop test and IP54 against dust and water spray.

Warranty on the Ti32 is 2 years as standard. The camera includes 2 batteries, each of which has 4-hour life. The Ti32 also comes complete with Fluke’s SmartView® full analysis and reporting software so you can analyze images and generate reports. You can transfer images from the camera to a PC via USB.

The Ti32 also includes Fluke’s IR-Fusion technology. IR-Fusion automatically captures a visible image with every infrared image and allows you to adjust the blending of these images. This means you can easily see exactly what you’re looking at in IR images. With physical parallax correction, IR and visible light images are always perfectly aligned.

The E8 weighs just 1.27lbs and features a 3-inch LCD screen, a rechargeable Li-ion battery with 4-hour life, and USB ports for data transfer to PCs. The latest model (2017 and later) also features WiFi connectivity so you can transfer images wirelessly to the FLIR Tools App and create professional reports faster than ever before.

The E8 has a resolution of 320x240 and 60mK thermal sensitivity. The E8 also features an IP54 rating as well as a 2-meter drop test rating. The camera comes standard with FLIR’s powerful MSX technology built-in. This technology embosses visible light details onto thermal images, so you can see exactly what you’re looking at – reference images are no longer needed.

Temperature measurement range for the E8 covers -4°F to 482°F. The camera has an accuracy rating of ±2% or ±2°C. The E8 includes FLIR’s powerful FLIR Tools reporting software. With it, you can transfer image files then analyze and edit images in FLIR Tools. The E8 also comes with FLIR’s leading 10-5-2 warranty, providing 10-year coverage on the IR detector, 5-years on the battery, and 2-years on the product.
