Overview

The Generation Three Flir ONE model improves on the principle of universal compatibility with their OneFit™ connector. It’s designed to fit any device or tablet regardless of case. Flir is also making the new Flir One more affordable by making both the standard One, with a starting list price of $199.99 and the One Pro.

The major difference between the two models is thermal resolution. The Flir One Gen 3 has a thermal resolution of 80x60 and the Flir One Pro is 160x120

The best technical improvements are found with the Flir One Pro model. Along with Flir’s MSX technology that interlaces visual details with thermal imaging, the Pro will have VividIR™, a “super resolution” processing technology that Flir has said provides the sharpest mobile thermal imaging ever. With a 160 x 120 sensor, MSX, and this new technology, that should be true! Both cameras take advantage of Flir’s new app design, a more social approach to thermal imaging with case studies and problem solving tutorials.
