One of the many features of these intrinsically safe flashlights is Proprietary Compound Path Optics (CPO) which permits high efficiency and compact size. Even though the 3AA and 3C eLED® CPO are the smallest intrinsically safe flashlights of its kind, they are specifically designed for workers wearing even the thickest gloves.
The 3AA eLED® CPO can be mounted to any helmet or hard hat using a helmet clip. Additionally, the 3C eLED® CPO is equipped with an ergonomic and very strong belt clip, which provides easy access and portability.
The 3AA eLED with high-end intrinsically safe LED techno- logy is a step above standard LED torches. The 3AA eLED® flashlight is equipped with special eLEDs and also features revolutionary CPO and TRS technology.
The light from the LED is focused and concentrated onto a reflector via a mirror in the optics. This offers a significant advantage in terms of light efficiency provided by the CPO (Compound Path Optics).
An electronic system keeps the light intensity at a constant level and ensures a white beam of light is maintained throughout the operational time.
The TRS (Thermal Recovery System) improves the battery efficiency of the torch by reclaiming energy lost through heat and redirecting it to the battery. This means that the light output of the eLED can remain at the maximum level for a prolonged period of time while extending the battery life by up to 10%.
A rubberised switch means the flashlight can also be operated easily when wearing gloves.
