Event or Run Time Dataloggers (or Data Logger, Data Recorder, Data Acquisition) refer to electronics designed to capture operating time of equipment for review later and setting maintenance schedules. Event Logger to monitor cycle patterns of pumps, blowers and other electrical equipment.

A standard voltage datalogger could be used for this application. But it must have alarm trigger capability. When a threshold value of voltage is exceeded, then the recording is started automatically and continues until the voltage drops below the threshold. This way run time can be logged.
