Altek was founded in 1979. Today they are owned by Danaher Corporation. Altek products are designed to calibrate devices used by the oil and gas, water/waste water, chemical, power production, food processing, pharmaceutical industries, to name a few. Their products are distributed globally to these industries. The Altek reputation for high accuracy, ruggedness and portability is what sets their company apart from the rest.
Their products evolved over the years. They were an early developed of the multifunction process calibrator with the introduction of the Techcheck 820, still very popular today. Also popular are the 334A milliamp loop calibrator, 211 RTD temperature calibrator, and 422 universal thermocouple calibrator.
