Failed after 1.5 years

I bought a Yellow Jacket dual port manometer 78052 one and half years ago and the sensor has already gone out. I used this tool less than 5 times last winter. The first time I needed it this year it is showing erratic number and won’t calibrate. I contacted yellow jacket tech service; they indicated the sensor has failed and that I needed to send it in for repair. The warranty department confirmed it is out of warranty; the sensor is not sold as an optional replacement part. I am a HVAC contractor and I own a lot of Yellow Jacket tools such as vacuum pump, vacuum gauges, manifold gauges, etc. I bought this tool because of the quality tools made by Yellow Jacket. But this tool doesn’t hold up to Yellow Jacket reputation. I would avoid buying this plastic tool with no replacement parts available. I have since pulled out my old reliable Dwyer Magnehelic gauge that I have been using for the past 22 years.
