Wohler 3663 - Pressure Meter

The Wohler pressure computer DC 17 is a high-precision multi-functional device for measuring differential pressures and temperatures. The high pressure range (up to 17 bar) permits to measure the differential pressure at flow-control valves for in hot-water, central heating and cooling installations by simply entering a kv value. In addition, the device can be used to indicate the flow rate, either in l/h or m3/h, with a simple push of a key. The rugged pressure sensor is designed for the direct contact with the media gas (air), water and oil and has a bursting pressure of 32 bar. A plug-in test hose adapter with sinter filter elements ensures a safe zero point detection – even with extremely high primary pressure. The complete set also contains connection adapters for fittings of many other manufacturers. Optionally available measuring pliers permit to measure the difference between the flow and return temperature, before and after performing hydraulic adjustments. The results can be printed out so that the success of the work can be documented right away.

The Wohler DC 17 can also be used for measuring the oil throughput of oil nozzles, thus permitting to adjust the set combustion capacity. The installed program even takes systems with and without oil preheating in account. The DC 17 can be used to check or set the under pressure side (i. e. suction side) and the overpressure side of the oil pump, according to the technical regulations for oil installations. This setting can be then documented with the help of a thermal printer.
