For a long time I've thought about upgrading from my WES51 to the WESD51, but I did not like it and I certainly don't think the digital model is worth the $$$ compared to the analog one.

parts are no longer available for them
The interchangeable tips make an enourmous asset especially with the digital readout.

Overall, an excellent purchase experience. Great price. Speedy delivery. And a superior product in the WESD51. THe digital control is great. This is a great station for someone trying to do more controlled and delicate work for longer periods. I've tried some other popular brands; they're nice.
