Hot Air Rework Station With Internal Pump, 120 V
UNMATCHED CONTROL
With 650 watts of power, internal air adjustable from 5 L/min. to 50 L/min. and temperature variable from 100°F to 1,000°F, the new Weller WHA900 Hot Air Station is a solid performer. But what really puts the WHA900 ahead is its closed-loop temperature feedback control that maintains the temperature at the nozzle, independent of the airflow rate.
THE SECRET IS THE SENSOR
The WHA900 has a sensor located at the nozzle that continuously samples the temperature and instantly adjusts the heat output to maintain the temperature you've pre-selected. So you don't have to readjust the temperature every time you change the airflow rate. Set it once and forget it. So your rework production increases and your reject rate goes down.
That's the Weller Advantage.
The WHA900 is the only unit in its class that has a temperature and air flow setback than can be pre-selected by the user. Plus it's the only unit that features a temperature offset control that fine-tunes the hot air temperature right at the tip when an ultra-precise temperature is required for thermocoupled component removal.
The WHA900 hot air station was developed for general soldering re-work on Surface Mount components. The temperature of the hot air is controlled electronically and is variable between 100°F and 1000°F. 120 VAC (8) is required to operate the unit. The air flow is variable electronically within the range of approximately 5-50 l/minute and is generated by a self contained pump. The hot air is activated using the Start/Stop Push Button, (5) at the front of the unit.
The WHA900 is grounded through the 120 VAC three wire power cord.
