We did adjust these tips slightly when we got them but I think anyone using tweezers this fine might want to set the tips for their specific application. (we turned them in a hair). As far as the quality of the part. We've been using these tweezers with different tips for years and they hold up exceptionally well. We gave it 4 stars because sometimes it's hard to get Weller parts. It took a couple of weeks to get these but now I see they are back in stock. We had no problem with the packaging after purchasing several tips. They each come in a foam box and none were damaged. TE packed them well and they had the best price.

Poor packaging and workmanship flaw

Tweezer tips are packed in a lightweight box that crushes during shipping. Also, diameter of tip shafts are not identical (measured about 1/375" difference w/ micrometer).
