The Velp Scientifica SA202A0280 ZX4 is an advanced vortex mixer with an innovative and revolutionary IR Sensor and variable stirring speed of up to 3000 rpm. The SA202A0280 comes with foam stand for 19 micro vials 1.5 ml – Eppendorf, a customizable soft foam top, and a small rubber supporting plate (Ø 50 mm)

Mixing by spinning can be carried out quickly and safely by placing the tube containing the sample on the mixing cup head. The ZX4 advanced IR vortex mixer can be used in automatic (SENSOR) or continuous mode (CONT) In both cases the mixing speed can be adjusted using the speed selector knob. When the instrument is switched on it is always set in SENSOR mode. Mixing starts when the test tube crosses the infrared sensor field near the mixing cup head. For continuous mode press the mode select button, mixing starts automatically at the selected speed, and no pressure is required on the cup head. The LED on the front panel indicates that the instrument is running in sensor mode.

The press-on fitting means that the mixing cup head can easily be replaced. The SA202A0280 ZX4 has a large choice of accessories to suit tubes, plates, and flasks.
