The Velp Scientifica Multi-TX5 is a digital, multi-tube vortex mixer for high sample throughput. The Multi-TX5 supports various foam racks (one 012 Rack is included) for different vortex tubes, making it an extremely versatile tool to emulsify, disintegrate, mix, or homogenize samples. Typical applications include suspensions, genotyping, and DNA and RNA testing, however; you can rely on the Multi-TX5 for a wide variety of mixing tasks, as it stirs solutions from 100 up to 2500 rpm. Vigorous, as well as gentle mixing is supported while providing premium performance and an ideal solution for microbiology tasks and R&D or quality control in diverse industries such as cosmetics, food and beverage, chemicals, and pharmaceutical.

With the Multi-TX5, you can perform a variety of mixing tasks and then change the foam rack for your next application in just a few simple steps:

Prepare the foam rack with the test tubes, then loosen both screw knobs on the closing plate and lift the plate up. The plate can be removed or held on the longer shaft for streamlined manual operations.

Place the foam rack inside the foam support, lower the closing plate until it reaches the test tubes, and tighten the screw knobs. 

The Multi-TX5 is constructed of stainless steel and ensures a high level of safety and protection for operators. The structure is carefully designed for outstanding comfort, maximized resistance, and a minimized footprint on the bench. The control panel is easily accessible and extremely intuitive.

Stirring time and speed can be easily set using the conveniently located knobs and the bright, easy-to-read double-digit display. The safety lock function prevents any possible alterations of working conditions or unintentional modification of the settings. 

The Multi-TX5 is equipped with advanced features that optimize unattended operation:

• Built-in timer - can be set from 1 min to 99 hours 59 min (1 min steps)
• Pulse mode - Shakes samples at full speed with an immediate ramp for 2 seconds, then stops for 1 second, repeating the operation until manually stopped or the timer reaches 0
• Continuous mode - displayed time counting up
• Auto reverse - can be set from 5 seconds to 99 min 59 seconds (1-second steps)
• Intermittent mode - can be set from 5 seconds to 99 min 59 seconds (1-second steps)
