The Testo 871 delivers even more informative thermal images in combination with the compatible 770-3 clamp meter and the Testo 605i thermohygrometer. Both are available separately. The measurement results of both measuring instruments can easily be transmitted via Bluetooth. The additional output, current, and voltage values of the Testo 770-3 clamp meter enable better interpretation of measured temperatures. Measure the air temperature and humidity with the Testo 605i and easily detect locations at risk of developing mold using the special humidity palette in the thermal imager via the traffic light principle.

Testo E-Assist
For precise thermal images, it is important to set the emissivity (E) and the reflected temperature of the object being examined in the imager. Previously, this was complicated, and with regard to the reflected temperature, less than accurate. This changes with Testo E-Assist: Simply attach one of the reference stickers included in delivery to the measurement object. Via the integrated digital camera, the thermal imager recognizes the sticker, determines the emissivity and reflected temperature, and sets both values automatically.
Testo ScaleAssist
Since the temperature scale and coloring of thermal images can be adapted individually, it is possible that the thermal behavior of a building, for example, can be wrongly interpreted. The Testo ScaleAssist function solves this problem by adjusting the color distribution of the scale to the interior and exterior temperature of the measurement object and the difference between them. This ensures objectively comparable and error-free thermal images
Testo Thermography App
With the Testo Thermography App, your smartphone/tablet becomes a second display and remote control for your thermal imager. In addition to this, you can use the app to create and send compact reports on site, and to save them online
Testo SuperResolution
The patent-pending SuperResolution technology improves the thermal image quality of images taken with a Testo thermal imager by a downloadable software-based upgrade. With SuperResolution, thermal images will show 4x higher resolution, and quadruple the number of recorded temperature points, ensuring high detail thermal images when viewed through IRSoft. Using a pixel shift technology based on natural hand movement, SuperResolution will easily display smaller image points, even if the images were captured from a larger distance.
