This ESD jacket is an effective Category 1 static shielding ESD garment. The lightweight OFX-100 fabric makes this style one of our most popular garments. The surface resistivity of the fabric is 1x10⁵ and the sleeve-to-sleeve resistance of the garment is guaranteed to stay below 3.5x10⁷ for 100 washes or 2 years. This V-neck style jacket comes with the “Reaching Hand Symbol” next to the breast pocket indicating that this garment is a tool for the prevention of static discharge.

This garment can be made groundable with the addition of ESD Cuffs or Key Options.

All Tech Wear garments made of OFX-100 fabric with our ESD knit cuffs or the “Key option” used as recommended, will meet the requirements of the National ESD Association’s ANSI/ESD STM 2.1-2013, Category 3, “Garment used as primary grounding path for personnel” and/or “Grounded through a single wire constant monitor system”, and will maintain these performance characteristics for a minimum of 100 washes or 2 years, whichever comes first.

Wash in cool or cold water with any commercially-available liquid detergent, and hang dry or dry at 120°F or less. Do not use bleach, fabric softener, or iron. The carbon-suffused monofilament nylon is sensitive to heat and should not be exposed to drying heat in excess of 120°F. Wash at 90°F (Maximum) and tumble dry at low heat or hang dry. This lightweight fabric will dry very quickly and we recommend hang-drying for maximum life.

• Due to fabric elasticity, all measurements are within +/- inch.
• Length is measured from the center back of the neck to the finished hem.
• The finished sleeve is measured from the center back of the neck to the bottom of the sleeve hem. or bleach. Hang dry or tumble dry at the lowest temperature setting. The garment will dry very quickly. Do not allow garments.
