The TPI 565C1 anemometer with telescoping hot-wire probe reaches into tight spaces to measures air velocity in m/s, fpm, knots, mph, and km/h and air temperature in degrees C and F; and has record, recall, and hold functions for analyzing air flow. The meter records and recalls minimum, maximum, and average readings and its data hold function freezes a reading on the display to aid documentation. For transferring and storing data directly to a PC, the meter has an output terminal for connecting to the RS-232 serial port of a compatible PC (interface cable sold separately). The LCD shows air velocity and temperature readings simultaneously.
The meter has an auto power-off mode that shuts it down after 10 minutes of non-use to conserve battery life and has a low-battery indicator. It has European Conformity (CE) marking. This anemometer is used for monitoring air flow and temperature in ductwork, spray booths, and exhaust hoods, among other applications.
