The Line-to-DC Converter (LDC2) accessory provides power when you need power to operate your PS250 and a power outlet for the charger is not conveniently available.

For those times that you need to get power to operate your PS250 and an outlet is not conveniently available, we provide Line-to-DC Converter (LDC2) accessory shown connected to a PS250. The LDC2 connects directly to line voltages via fused safety clips. Its output is a cable with a jack output that supplies unregulated 12VDC up to 200 ma.

The two inputs of the LDC2 can be freely connected to any two phases or neutral, from 100–600 Vrms, from 50–60 Hz without affecting the output, providing foolproof operation and maximum flexibility. Safety is promoted by fused input leads, insulated grabber jaws, and remote jaw actuators that keep fingers 3 inches away from the hot voltage while attaching the LDC2. If a power outage occurs, the internal rechargeable batteries will continue uninterrupted operation for 8-10 hours. The LDC trickle charges the internal batteries of the PS250 while it operates the unit.
