The Starrett W790.1 Wireless Electronic Multi-Anvil Micrometer is a full-featured precision measuring tool, featuring wireless operation up to 9m (30ft). The newly designed Starrett W790.1 will handle a wide variety of measurements impossible to obtain with regular micrometers, such as measuring the wall thickness of the tubing, cylindrical walls from a hole or slot to an edge, many hard-to-reach locations, and thickness of screw heads, shoulder lengths, etc. The W790.1 series includes a large, easy-to-read, high-contrast LCD digital readout for clear readings. Equipped with easily interchangeable anvils, this micrometer is flexible and versatile, making it a popular choice in machine or automotive repair shops. Its no-glare satin chrome finish minimizes annoying surface glare under bright lights indoors or filters out UV light.
Free Mobile Application
To use the wireless feature, download the free Datasure Mobile application from App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android devices). The wireless Starrett tool will communicate to a mobile device from a distance of up to 30 feet. Send the data with the click of a button or the Starrett wireless gauge. It is automatically collected on the device and can be emailed, air-dropped or texted. The Datasure app also provides lots of features and functions such as digital readout (DRO), formulas, unit conversions (SAE/mm), the ability to name tools (connect 5 to 8 tools depending your on device capability), name parts measured, set min/max levels, use the device as a remote display, and much more.
