The Starrett W786.1 Wireless Electronic Blade-Type Micrometer with Non-Rotating Spindle with Output is a full-featured precision measuring micrometer. The newly designed W786.1 blade micrometer is used for fast and accurate measurements of circular form tools, diameter and depth of narrow grooves, slots, key ways, recesses, and depths between lands and fins. The Starrett W786.1 has a large, easy-to-read, high-contrast LCD digital readout for clear readings and a speeder for quicker adjustment on all sizes. The non-rotating spindle prevents the blade from turning in narrow slots or rolling off shoulder. The no-glare satin chrome finish minimizes annoying surface glare under bright lights indoors or filters out UV light. This product features output capability for data transmission. 

To use the wireless feature, download the free Datasure Mobile application from App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android devices). The wireless Starrett tool will communicate to a mobile device from a distance of up to 30 feet. Send the data with the click of a button or the Starrett wireless gage. It is automatically collected on the device and can be emailed, air-dropped or text. The Datasure app also provides lots of features and functions such as digital read out (DRO), formulas, unit conversions (SAE/mm), ability to name tools (connect 5 to 8 tools depending your on device capability), name parts being measured, set min/max levels, use device as a remote display, and much more.
