The newly designed electronic 823 tubular inside micrometer set is the same as the 823 mechanical version except with a digital readout. Equipped with RS232 output is ideal for use with DataSure 4.0 Wireless Data Collection System or Multiplexer Input. Useful for internal linear measurements such as measuring cylinders, rings, setting calipers, comparing gages and measuring parallel surfaces.

The measurement rods are made of steel tubing, light in weight, yet extremely rigid. Rods are approximately 3/8in (9.5mm) diameter to meet the requirements of mechanics who prefer the larger diameter. By removing the hardened and ground anvil ends (end caps) of the micrometer head, the rods may be attached to either or both ends of the micrometer as preferred. Each rod may be individually adjusted for wear by the hardened and ground anvil at the end.
