The Starrett W764.1 Wireless Electronic Sheet Metal Micrometer has the same features as the 764.1 electronic micrometers but has an embedded radio that allows the user to send data up to 30ft with no end nodes or cables and has a rechargeable battery.

To use the wireless feature, download the free Datasure Mobile application from App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android devices). The wireless Starrett tool will communicate to a mobile device from a distance of up to 30 feet. Send the data with the click of a button or the Starrett wireless gage. It is automatically collected on the device and can be emailed, air-dropped or text. The Datasure app also provides lots of features and functions such as digital read out (DRO), formulas, unit conversions (SAE/mm), ability to name tools (connect 5 to 8 tools depending your on device capability), name parts being measured, set min/max levels, use device as a remote display, and much more.
