Digital Rockwell/Superficial Rockwell Hardness Tester
The Starrett 3823 Twin Hardness Tester features Regular Rockwell and Superficial Rockwell hardness tests for metal and plastic materials. The 3823 test force is applied via a closed-loop control unit with a load cell, a DC motor, and an electronic measurement and control unit. Simple plug-and-play tech allows for much more quick and easy operation than traditional dead weight-type machines. The extended dolphin nose allows a vertical hardness test height of 11.8" and a throat depth of 8.6".
