Ultrasonic Portable Hardness Tester, 2kg Probe

The Starrett 3821 produces non-destructive hardness testing results and is built for the shop floor. The 2kg probe is suitable for surfaces with a Ra below 200. The other key feature of this unit is that it performs very well on thin materials. For example, it can successfully measure hardness on steel parts that are down to 0.08" (2mm) in thickness.
