Softing WX4500-MMSM-FA2 - Copper and Fiber Certifier Kit
The WireXpert is the first Ethernet cable certifier with capability to certify the highest performance cabling systems in enterprise networks and data centers.
Cable installers maximize productivity with WireXpert, the only platform to offer the Dual Control System. With certification testing up to Class F
A and CAT8 copper cabling, as well as MPO, SM, MM and MMEF fiber optic cabling, WireXpert is ready for 40G and beyond.
With Dual Control System, List-based testing, flexible cable adapters, and the convenience package always included, you will see why WireXpert is called the smart choice.
Protect Your Investment: Beyond 10G
If you are testing 10 Gb/s cabling, WireXpert is the clear choice. If you are thinking beyond 10G, WireXpert is the only choice. Built on a future proof, scalable measurement engine, WireXpert protects your investment in test equipment as the data rates supported by the cabling systems increase. WireXpert employs a unique measurement architecture that achieves extremely wide bandwidth with superior measurement accuracy. Its unique RF measurement engine exceeds level V requirements throughout the measurement frequency range.
Convenience Package Always Included
Every WireXpert kit always includes a hard carrying case to protect your investment when you transport your certification equipment. The table top stand allows you to prop-up the WireXpert to free-up your hands and still see the screen while in the field. If a table is not available, the hanging cleat on the WireXpert is like a camera strap that allows you to hang the WireXpert to free-up your hands. The shoulder strap makes transporting your WireXpert all day easier for you, and the stylus offers an optional method for screen navigation and data entry for the touch screen just in case this is your personal preference. With Softing, and with every WireXpert, the convenience package is always included. The hard carrying case, hanging cleats, table top stand, shoulder strap, stylus, and everything you need to certify cables is always included as a convenience to you.
Testing Cabling Systems, CAT6A and Beyond
WireXpert, with its industry leading measurement performance, provides adapters for testing cabling systems with higher performance than CAT6A (500MHz). For Class FA cabling, testing is performed over the full standards defined frequency range from 1MHz through 1,000MHz. Both TERA and GG45/ARJ45 interfacesare available through WireXpert test adapters. Both channel and permanent link testing are supported. Adapters are also available for testing CAT7A patch cords. With measurement bandwidth exceeding 2GHZ, WireXpert is capable of testing CAT8 cabling.
Multimode and Singlemode Kits
WireXpert optical loss kits are available for both Multimode and Singlemode fiber networks. The modular solution allows testing both types of networks on the same WireXpert unit with interchangeable adapters. Each module lets you perform very accurate loss and length measurements at two wavelengths meeting all the various standard requirements. Both kits support certification of horizontal as well as back-bone cabling by supporting dual wavelength measurement on each adapter.
Designed for Many Applications
Softing offers a variety of products for the testing, certification and verification of both copper and fiber optic cable. The chart below is an overview of the functionality and differences of several popular models. Testers are also available in packages with different accessories.
