The Smart-AVI HDC-IR-RXS is an IR over CAT5 Receiver that receives infrared control signals up to 1000 feet using Cat5 twisted-pair cabling. It comes with a compact enclosure and has built-in lightning, power surge, and transient protection. This receiver is fully compliant with standard modulated IR and the lates IRDA. It offers a fully transparent path for all protocols and data transfers and bi-directional IR.

Applications

The HDC-IR-RXS is perfect to use in hotels, cable TV remote control, control rooms, remote on-digital set-top control, skybox control extension, dealer rooms, point of sale, remote VCR control and home use.
Data Broadcasting: such as news, stock prices, sports results, and flight information can be broadcast in real time to various monitors and/or speakers.
